A Grand Junction update Blog - May 10, 2011

All the photos in this post are from Colorado National Monument

Since I’m sitting at DFW airport waiting on a layover to Jersey, I thought I’d give an update on the last few days. I mentioned in the last post that we had to leave Moab sooner than we’d like so that we could both fly out of a somewhat convenient airport. That left us in Grand Junction, CO for a bit.

Ben flew to Tampa a few days ago to record some Photoshop training DVDs with the awesome NAPP team. He also was the special guest on the Photoshop/photography talk show, “The Grid.” The episode is still online and if you’re a photog, photoshop junkie, or just a geek in general (no shame in that. Geeks rock.) check it out HERE.

So since Ben was away, and the place the bus was parked was a little, um… unexciting, I took off to go shooting somewhere a little more exciting. Colorado National Monument is a beautiful national park, and it was less than 15 minutes from the bus. Score! I drove the whole thing, which was totally fun in the Mini, and stopped anywhere that looked interesting. So basically, I stopped a lot!

Right now, I’m en route to New Jersey, where I’ll be for a week. Ben flies there tomorrow and will present his From Focus to Finished seminar in Philadelphia. I’m looking forward to seeing friends and family there, as well as converging with our fellow technomads Chris and Cherie of Technomadia.

More to come…
