Today was the Christening for Ava Marie and Leah Emily, the twin girls of my good friends Nicole and Dari. And I was so proud to be the Godmother of little Ava. And of course, the girls’ personal photographer. They were the sweetest things, wrapped up in these baptism dresses more elaborate than most wedding gowns. It’s so beautiful to see them so sweet and innocent, with their whole lives ahead of them. I cant wait to watch them grow up and see the people they become.

So I did the best I could with the photos. The two challenges were the church lighting, which is really nice, but hard to manage the tones after – so many spotlights of differing temperatures, and the little white dresses, which were hard to keep from getting too bright when the rest of the image was at the right exposure.
