On Thursday morning, my friends Nicole and Dari’s family went from a family of 3 to a family of 5, when their twin girls were born. I guess they wanted to be here in time for all the Phillies’ World Series celebrations! I went to see them yesterday, and they are just the sweetest things! I’m so happy for Nicole and Dari, and I guess a little nervous for them too. One newborn is a lot of work – and they have two.
Of course I brought my camera to the hospital, and I have to say that at 2 days old, they’re the youngest people ever in front of my camera. And let me tell you, photographing newborns is just wonderful – they dont complain, they dont blink, they dont move. You just position them and start snapping. Too bad they dont stay that way! (No, I dont mean that – today’s shoot, with 2-year-olds, was actually a lot of fun too – they can be so funny at that age!)
Anyway, above are some shots of the girls, Eva and Leah. So so sweet!
